Default maybe a dumb sales tax question? on school fees and house prices?

Ok - may seem like a dumb question - but is this "built" in to what is quoted/priced or do we have to add it on? And if so how much is it
Thanks!!

Don't know if this answers your question, but schools get money from property taxes, not sales tax, so you are not paying sales tax when you buy a home. The seller pays an excise tax of 1.78% ( plus 5 dollars)..Also, every few years voters are asked to approve levies for schools, adding to the property tax.

No, you do not pay sales tax on buying a house.

Only the original house buyer pays the sales tax on new construction, which is also built in the price.
