It's a big city. This happens in every big city, everywhere.
Get some perspective.
But we don't want to be compared to a third country. We're comparing present day urban life to the way it was years ago. These sorts of things were far rarer.

In any event, the homeless need help.

( sounds like something in a 3rd world country )

Strange that one elected official was against pressure washing the sidewalks daily to remove the stench.
I have no clue about this but I witnessed several people on several occasions urinating and defecating on the streets of New Orleans lol

Big problem in San Diego too with hepatitis A epidemic on top of it, related to failure to address increasing homeless issue.
Seems big New York City has figured it out these days, or not?

Both Seattle and SF have this problem. It's what happens when far left liberals run the city.

I almost got pissed on by a crazy homeless lady walking through Capitol Hill one night. She squatted down and as I was walking a giant stream of **** just missed my legs by a foot or so. I suddenly came to a halt and looked at her and was like WHAT THE F***!!!!! She told me, "Hey, sometimes you just gotta go"..

Yes, Seattle has a big problem with human excrement and urination on its sidewalks. Literally, some homeless will just **** and crap right in front of you and have no care, whatsoever.

I agree these are the symptoms of a progress and liberal run city.

I guess the new saying can be, "In Seattle, The World is Your Toilet".

Is San Diego a progressive, liberal city, or not ?

So because a third world craphole is worse people shouldn't expect more from Seattle? How progressive of you.

In my 35+ years of visiting Seattle I had never seen this until this morning. I'd see this thread pop up and wonder what people were talking about.
Right on the sidewalk on third by Westlake Station I saw a pile of feces, then a few feet away a homeless person was sleeping with a plastic water bottle full of urine next to them.
A Macy's employee came out and washed the sidewalk after one of the downtown ambassadors swept away the feces. The homeless person eventually walked away, left the urine bottle, which was picked up by the ambassador.
I thanked the kind gentlemen tasked with that terrible job.

-Mike

There are plenty of larger U.S. cities where the problem isn't as nearly as bad: Chicago, Houston, Dallas, San Diego, Austin, Charlotte.

It's amazing how the far left socialists in Seattle tolerate this type of condition in the name of "sympathy" and "equality." Such weird disgusting people.
