Hi all,

If anyone had experience with selecting auto transport companies, can you share the costs and things to look out for? I got bids from various companies and the price range is pretty brad $900 - $2300.

Thanks.

A friend of mine had his car shipped here from North Carolina several years ago. I don't remember exactly how much it cost him (or who he used), but it arrived safely and in a timely manner.

$900 does seem a bit low. But I think part of that also has to do with the level of protection during shipping (i.e - fully enclosed trailer, vs exposure to the elements).

I shipped a vehicle from SEA to HOU in 2004. I can't remember the name of the carrier but I do remember it cost $1300 back then.

Ours was shipped on an open car carrier.

My company used Bespoke Relocation. They shipped our new Lexus open trailer from San Diego to Seattle without an issue. Company paid so I'm not sure the $ amount.
