Hello,

My husband and I are moving to Capitol Hill in late May. I've been looking on craigslist and NWSource like a maniac (minimum requirements: under $1,700, 2bd/1+ba, takes small dog, w/d in unit). Most listings for townhomes are for April or sooner. I will certainly check back at a later time for townhomes available in June.

Besides these two popular sources, and not counting actually driving around the neighborhood (which we'll do sometime in April or May), are there other sources we can go to?

We are honing in on the Capitol Hill area solely for various reasons...

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

The Stranger, The Weekly, Capitol Hill Times, Little Nickel, and your friendly neighborhood real estate agent are all additional sources for possible rentals.

Rentals are usually advertised 30 days or less before they are ready. You need to wait awhile before you look, unless you can bring up your move date.
