I'm not a people who come from a country which is speak English,so my English not well, but I still studing English everyday.
Before I came to Seattle, I just tought the environment can help me improve my English very fast,in fact, it's not as my wish.
Because of my poor English,I cannot make friends with the people who speak English.I have been here for 6 monthes, still like me before 6 monthes...
Everytime time I go shopping or go into a store, the workers would talk to me firendly, but my answers always smile because I can't understand what they talk about,it's too fast for me.I just was receped the informations like ~!@#$%^&*(),,, I looked very stupid at that monment...

When I can feel comfultable during I talking?

Default Where are you from?

First of all, you're doing all right. It was easy for me to get the meaning of what you said from your message and that's what's most important-- that you can communicate your meaning.

I'm sure it's hard sometimes. If you go to craigslist Seattle (it's a free website) there is a community section, under "activities" I've seen others post that they are looking for a language partner-- a person they can hang out with once or twice a week who knows English and will help them learn.

Have you taken any ESL (English as Second Language) classes? They could be a good way to both improve your English and meet people. From what I understand, they are relatively inexpensive and offered in most towns around here.
