If we absolutely had to choose someplace in the Seattle area... and money was no object... I'd prolly buy one of the islands and keep it all to myself. Well... my kids and cats and hubby could live on it, too! And I'd have a big boat - a family-sized yacht - and we'd spent most of our time living on our boat in other, warmer, sunnier places and only come to our Pacific Northwest island during the summer when the weather is decent...
If money were no option and we didn't have to stay in Seattle... I'd move to Belize or Costa Rica...

If money were no object, I would live in SE Alaska or on the Kenai Peninsula.

I would probably buy one of those grand old houses on Capitol Hill or Madison Park as my primary residence and then buy a piece of property in Pend Oreille County and build a log home as a secondary residence.
As you can see, I have no desire to leave the Pacific Northwest...

I'd buy myself a "permanent" residence in Seattle, near Aurora Bridge, that I would only visit during summer and then "vacation" to Tokyo knowing I'd never have to worry about a job or money.
If I knew actually had to live in Seattle... Well, given where I chose to live, it's a no-brainer what I'd do next.

Not sure but it would be a nice, comfortable home with land and views and I would have it open facing south with alot of windows and not alot of people around it. A view of the mountains and water would be outstanding.

Perhaps a nice condo at 1521 downtown or a beautiful OLD home in Madison Park, Denny Blaine or Capitol Hill

In the Seattle context: Assuming there's enough money in this hypothetical, I'd have one nice home in Seattle (not sure which area yet, still need to do more exploring) and one in the country, probably close to skiing or maybe an island
Outside of the Seattle context: Like a lot of you, it depends on when you ask me. Sometimes I'd say "Paris" without hesitation, but other times I'd say NYC (especially if money really is no object) or San Francisco.
