DID YOU KNOW?

Washington State law provides two tax benefit programs for senior citizens and the disabled: property tax exemptions and property tax deferrals. More than 26,000 qualified seniors and disabled persons have yet to register for the exemption, and only 1 in 100 of those eligible for deferrals are currently enrolled. Details of these two programs are provided below. The process of applying is fairly simple. Here is the link, hope it is helpful: Tax relief - King County

Nice of them only to charge a 5% simple interest rate vs. the federal short term rate+2% on low income households seeking a deferral

My pleasure Neerwhal, I find it shocking that only 1 in 100 eligible parties are participating. Where is the BIG Washington State ad campaign to let people know? HA!

I thought that's what WA's version of CA's Proposition 13 was supposed to address. Why would an additional measure be needed?
