That's cool that they won, but I have zero interest in the Seattle Sounders. Not even back to the original team in the NASL.
It's never a bad thing when a sports team in your town is doing well and winning playoff games.
I do like the Tacoma Stars. I go to those games.

The quicker Seattle's Sonic's come back the better. It's been nine seasons of yawn in the NBA since the team was sold and left for that big cowtown on the prairie.

MJ, I miss that Squatch, what a badass mascot with the reverse alleyoop flushes off the trampoline. Be careful bro, I'll lure you in with Sonics love, next thing you know you'll be all happy on old school overpriced Rainiers at a Sounders match .

or, OK, after the team said to be “champion” of the league actually gets a shot on goal during the entire ‘championship match’.

Look, we already have a crappy team that plays .400 ball.

If we want to watch a crappy team play a slow and dull sport we’ll watch the Mariners.

(at least their crappy season mercifully ends each September.)

Soccer is relatively dull and boring in societies that can afford more than just a ball.

The Sounder's winning percentage is only .400? Am I missing something?

Ties?

Soccer has a lot more ties than other sports popular in the US, so even teams that top the leagues can be less than .500

You have no idea how wrong you are. Europe is as developed as the US and this is number 1 sport BY FAR.

Losing percentage is a better way to measure how good a team is.
