Generally, electrical in the City of Seattle is handled by Seattle City Light. PSE primarily does gas in Seattle proper, but does provide electrical in a variety of places. Confused? Me too . Here is the PSE link, you can check with them and see what they will cover at your location: https://pse.com/aboutpse/EnergySuppl...ic-Supply.aspx

Here's the Seattle City Light link too, hope it helps: Seattle City Light

Gas is for heating but also many of us have a gas stove, fireplace, dryer and water heater. In Seattle it's Seattle City Light for electric, Seattle Public Utilities for Water/Sewer, and PSE for gas. On the eastside it's PSE for gas and electric, and a variety of local water/sewer providers.

PSE serves King County, so they cover everywhere that is not Seattle City Light. Going further north, you've got your PUD's.
Seattle City Light serves all of downtown, First Hill and U-dist. They serve portions of Renton, Burien, Tukwila and Sea-Tac, Normandy Park in the south end. In the north end, they serve portions of Lake Forest Park and Shoreline.
There are places right on the border between Renton and Seattle going down MLK towards downtown Renton. These are the SCL service areas.
Between them both, I much prefer PSE. They make payment arrangements, they have excellent customer service, and they're just easier to deal with.

I see, that is informative. So there is a gas delivery line then which must be separate than all other utilities i.e. electricity, sewer, water, etc., I assume gas is referring to natural gas and having gas than using electricity is much cheaper?
