Burgermaster is an almost legendary drive-in in these parts complete with carhops, etc. Years ago when Microsoft was first starting out it was just down the street from the Burgermaster in Bellevue and Bill Gates and his crew ate lunch there quite often. Today, there are reports that he still enjoys eating there...

Burgermaster

In fact, a few years ago Bill Gates was interviewed by one of the major networks, and the interview was held at Dick's on Queen Anne.

I think that despite his success and obvious competitive business savvy...He is kinda a kid that didnt grow up ...wasnt he involved with Paul Allen and crew in his early teens???

The man just keeps it real and enjoys a good burger, gotta admire that he doesnt feel the need to be posh and eat foie gras with every meal and wash it down with Ch. d'Yquem because of his stature in business.

My husband and I ran into him walking through his neighborhood in Medina and we couldn't believe he was out walking without security. My husband still swears that there must have been security somewhere but we just didn't see them.

Yeah, there's just no Dick's on the Eastside (restaurants, I mean).

Very true! lol

I don't remember if there has ever been a Dick's in Bellevue. Years ago there was an A&W in Eastgate...but it has been gone for years.
