Of your choices, lemme see.... they're all set up for families... okay, Hyatt. And the Hyatt Regency has a gorgeous interior garden court. It's a block or two to Bellevue Square, a fairly upscale shopping mall, and several yummo restaurants.

Are you familiar with TripAdvisor.com? Real reviews by real travelers of their real experiences, everywhere.
This is the Bellevue, WA page:
Bellevue Tourism - Bellevue Vacation Reviews - Bellevue Vacations - TripAdvisor
and Bellevue WA hotels: (rating system is entirely based on travelers' ratings of the hotels they stayed at)
Bellevue Hotels: Read Bellevue Hotel Reviews and Compare Prices - TripAdvisor
Forget the Travelodge; it's being torn down as we speak.

All three of those places are nice. I'd like to stay high up in the new Westin sometime.

But also consider the Silver Cloud mentioned in the second link above. I work in downtown Bellevue and visitors to our company often stay there and really like it. Quite reasonably priced, by Bellevue standards, also.

Well...I know nothing current about these three...except the old Hilton was ....old!!. If its the same one then a big no.

In the hospitality world (Im an execuctive chef in Japan)...my humble, yet very personal opinion.

Hyatt is a good company with good training in service and "genuine" hospitality, however I think Westin (as a company) currently have them beat.. (unless...disclaimer alert!!) It is a Grand or Park Hyatt which are their flagship properties and they spend more money on them in pro staffing and amenities.

I would stay at the newer of the two..Westin or Hyatt, both you most likely will have a clean room and well above average service... They are no Four Seasons, Mandarin, Pennisula or Ritz...but still they are not a Red Roof Inn (no offence to the R.R.I)

Enjoy and make sure to steal the shampoo things!! The rest they will charge you for!! What happened to the days when you could take the towels??? Its like an urban myth now. I also think its a good idea now that hotels dont change your sheets everyday anymore or wash the towels that are hung up...I mean who does that normally?? Everyday?? They say its good for the environment...which Im sure it is, and Im thankful for !! But I think the real benefit is it helps their bottomline tremendously...

20 yen..Take it or leave it...

I can barely keep up with this section of Bellevue , but I think the current Hilton used to be a Doubletree. The old Hilton is now a Sheraton and it was renovated a year or so ago. There is a Red Lion in the area, and it was something else before, too.

The Hyatt and Westin are considerably closer (in terms of walking distance) to downtown shopping and activities, now that I think about it.

When we have visited Seattle (we live in Atlanta) in the past we used to always stay in the Sheraton downtown (awesome and convenient to everything!). In the past few years we have stayed in the Bellevue Hyatt three times. We have three daughters, 12, 10 and 5 and it is great for a family! It is easy to park the car yourself and get in and out of the underground parking/hotel. The Hyatt has been renovated recently and it very nice. I believe that it has a Tullys Coffee in the Atrium and there is a great Starbucks about a block away. It is conveniently located so it is in walking distance to most things that you would want to do in Bellevue. Hopes this helps.

I usually like the Westin chain, but the Hyatt Bellevue was great when I last stayed there. Nice hgh beds and plump pillows. I think I stayed in bed one whole day cos it was more appealing than the shopping ...
