Yep i'd hate you too! Lol, i'm a big gamer and have been since i was a very small kid, why would you deny kids to the joy of playing video games??? Even my dad plays video games, and hes a retired lawyer in his 50's!!! Would you rather your kids be in a gang, or out causing trouble, addicted to drugs or video games?? Video games are a healthier, and actually cheaper addiction

There are many things that i don't like about Seattle (though many things i love) and i'm moving, but the gaming in Seattle is something I love! You can find games here that would be impossible in other places. Even the suburban arcades are excellent! I'm from Arkansas and i'm addicted to video games...it can happen anywhere!

I admit that happens here once in awhile after a storm and it's just as pretty.

This got me thinking...it's not always the rain that depresses me...sometimes it's just the cold.

Warm rain doesn't bother me. I must be cold-blooded!
No I agree with you, I'm from Arkansas so I totally agree, I was talking about the drizzle here being depressing lol.

A Team,
Arkansas gets more annual rainfall than Seattle, and gets brutally hot humid in the summer, but you're right. It's not that bone chilling rain, and I walked around in the rain the last time I visited Arkansas last May, and it felt pretty good. I like Seattle and I like Arkansas, but Seattle is not as wonderful as many people think, and Arkansas is much nicer than most people think.

On the other hand, in Arkansas and the rest of the South, you'd have to slather sunscreen all over your kids every day and then pull ticks off them when they get back, and hope they never get chiggers.

Over 80 degrees, I find the outdoors to be mostly useless. Its too grueling to hike in that kind of weather.

You're supposed to use sunscreen here too. Which is almost worse because it doesn't seem like you need it. But the UV rays are still there and incognito.

It's too grueling to hike in 80 degree weather???????? at 80 degree I would never even break a sweat.

No wonder I have problems in Seattle because I refuse to hike in less that 70 degrees - to me it's just too cold here most of the year.

False dilemma. You know, it's quite possible to not have a game console and not have your kids end up in gangs.
