I guess if I had a list of all the high speed internet phone and cable companies in that area I could do lookups. This is important enough to me to dictate where I end up moving! Thanks in advance!
Well, if you don't need to live in the Seattle area. Most of Chelan County households have fiber to the residence. Douglas County is expanding their network. Grant County I think is much farther along than Chelan or Douglas County.

As I understand Douglas County speeds are in the unbelievable. I believe Chelan County limits their speeds 12 mpbs for most services. You can get up to 100 mpbs. If speed is really an issue for you I would contact Douglas and Grant County PUD's.

Service providers are mostly local. Governor Locke was owned by Verizon and the legislature passed a law that required the locally owned PUD's to resell the fiber access. Most people were so pissed at Verizon and other national providers that they have not even tried to provide fiber service in eastern Washington.

We get phone, HD TV, and high-speed internet through LOCAL TEL.

FWIW, this is what I got at www.speedtest.net, hooked up wirelessly to Comcast cable.

The upload speed is inaccurate - not sure why - I think it needs a decimal point
