Hyperbole can be assessed here and now based on evidence that we already have at our disposal. I don't think anyone necessarily needs to wait 30 years to be able to identify it.

Today is day number 14 - in November the wettest month of the year.

I'm not panicking and I'm not saying it's climate change either. I do think this is irregular for November and, in recent years, we've had several long, dry stretches in the winter (which is still technically a full month off) so I'm concerned about snowpack leading into the summer months. Also in recent years we've had earlier start to warmer and/or drier summers (last July WAS wet and cool though!). In 2015 we had the unfortunate luck of having little snowpack leading into an early and exceptionally warm summer and it was miserable. Some people may not remember 2015 being so miserable because we had that awful smoke in 2017 and 2018. I guess for a few here that's all coincidental (I really hope it is!), but it's recent experience nonetheless and one can only wonder what will happen this year...

Good news is RAIN is in the forecast!
