WTF Washington voters. Do I have 88 correct? Will this wipe out all the WORK we did as a nation, as a united front for the end of ******* DISCRIMINATION???
The daughter and I have been talking about bailing from Washington. I feel like a stranger, surrounded by non-natives with their attitudes, dark hearts and affluence. We're looking at Arizoba and Nevada.
I'm sad, deeply chagrined.

It appears as 88 was rejected. The only counties that saw significant approval for the mesure were King, Whatcom, and Jefferson, no real surprise there.

We should not go back, IMO.

AA was ended under these circumstances about 20 years ago correct?

The supporters are (I assume) people who belong to groups that would benefit.

Others in general those who would not.

The most qualified and best people should be given the job or contract.

Edit in:

Here is the official state website that shows the current election results. And I assume there are some late ballots still being counted? How many, I don't know.

I am freaking out. I wanted it to pass. I want affirmative action. The people that write the measures deliberately confuse voters. I'm in disbelief. This sucks. The measure talks about I-1000. They should stay on course and ask how you feel about 88, not 1000. Wow

Why would you want affirmative action? This is the real discrimination.

I am so mad. I didn't fully comprehend how to vote to achieve the results I wanted. This means I voted incorrectly. I feel swindled by the composition of this ballot; words used against me. To approve means to approve I-1000, right? To reject means to overturn I-1000, correct? You're gettingvthe opposite result of how you vote, right?
I'm going to Barnes & Noble for the next election, and pick up my copy of "Referendums for Dummies".

You can study and get a job or contract based in your own merit.
