I see a few problems with this. What about people who are mixed race or biracial? Genetics is a funny thing and it isn't always clear what someone's race is. Many biracial people feel that they don't belong in either community which is a seperate problem in itself.

Why does this need to be segregated? You can have people of the same race in one room with radically different experiences.

You mean people are individuals and not defined by a group? How unracist of you!

We are increasingly reenacting the Cultural Revolution in China. It will soon be criminal to be white or East Asian, own property, read to your children, and have a six-figure job in the city.

Most gullible thing I've heard in awhile. Aren't you precious.

That's called being a sellout and nobody likes sellouts.

When you have a family to support not every battle is important. Especially against your employer.

Outwardly towing the company line on company time over some watered down HR nonsense is pretty innocuous.

Of course, I've never seen anything as insane as this segregated, racist Seattle method.

Everything gets co-opted. I was a feminist back in the WLF days. I was an early supporter of the environmental movement, fighting roadside herbicide spraying and nuclear power plants. I worked in a collective organic warehouse back in the early days of co-ops. I loved rock-n-roll. I supported anti-war activism. They all got taken over and perverted. The last anti-war rally I heard about was Hillary Clinton addressing a huge crowd in NY's Central Park, supposedly opposing Bush's war in Iraq, but she ended her speech with "And let's support our troops!".

Anything that gets a certain level of popular support gets taken over by the Evil Overlords. No reason civil rights would be exempt from that.

Taken down or taken over. Even yoga has gone corporate.
