I did. It's putrid. I went last Friday when they were giving them away, otherwise I'd have demanded my money back...I don't like Starbuck's lattes either, but Mcdonald's are worse.

Most things I'm really not very judgmental about, but I'm a total coffee snob. Most coffee is stale, it's only at it's peak flavor from 2-7 days after it's roasted, and then loses more flavor after it's ground.
I roast my own beans on my back porch using a bread machine and a heat gun. It's fun, a moneysaver, and produces a superior product.

And makes the neighborhood smell all coffee-e
I guess the next step would be to from self admitted "snob" to fanatic and start growing the coffee plants in a hydroponic grow room in your closet.
But with how bad some coffee is for mass consumption... I wouldnt blame you.

I don't think its possible to grow your own that way. Coffee grows on trees.

And that would take the fun out of getting these big packages of unroasted green coffee beans in the mail.

Where do you order your coffee beans from? I get mine Sweet Maria's and roast them using a Gene Cafe coffee roaster.
