Can anyone recommend the best cities around Seattle to drive and deliver Grub hub food and Door Dash?
Which areas have the best and safest traffic to navigate while doing food delivery? Are these areas in which there will be less chance of getting hit by other auto drivers or ticketed by the police.
Which areas pay the best for drivers delivering food to Grub hub customers?
Which areas are safest to deliver food to? What neighborhoods or parts of the city will a Grub hub driver pick up good well paying orders to deliver? Just Curious?

I don’t know what to make of this. Either you are spoofing, or you really are homeless. I don’t know. But if you live in your car your ride share company would probably not be amused. But then again they probably don’t care as long as you keep a high rating. Pretty hard to do I would expect if homeless. Seriously, if this is the case, best of luck to you.

Edit: I guess homeless drivers rideshare is a thing. But again, you would probably need to be a good actor with a newer vehicle and fake address to make it work.

In most of those cities the local police would ask you to move along if the saw you sleeping in the car, and local residents would call it in if they noticed. You could probably find secluded spots most days, but would have to move around and change daily to avoid detection. Those are upscale, low crime cities where people move to get away from the crime and homeless of Seattle.

Keep in mind that delivery driving for uber, doordash, grubhub, etc means contact (sometimes close contact) with both restaurants and customers. Your car should be clutter free. Many customers expect curbside delivery directly from your vehicle. I am sure it is possible to make car you live in clutter free but don’t imagine it would be easy. Personal hygiene is also important, again difficult when living in your car but not impossible. These items are important to maintain good ratings. If you don’t then you are essentially fired by the ride share companies. In addition uber requires pretty stringent inspections of your vehicle yearly.

I wish the OP well, but I wouldn’t want any food items I purchased being transported in a vehicle that is also a place where somebody lives in for sanitation and for many other obvious reason that are health related... Especially during our current pandemic.

OP, if you’re a functioning person, I would recommend that you seek out one of the many daily laborer employers, like Labor Works, in Auburn, WA and the many other sites like them that are seeking day laborers for contracts that they have. By doing this, it can and will lead to permanent employment and stability. Many worksites and businesses do seek out the services of day laborers for temporarily projects. And workers that do stand out, tend to get job offers.

Also, in the warehouse areas, in the Renton/Tukwila and Kent are always looking for laborers... Yes, it’s hard work and is high on the suck-o-meter, but it’s easier to find a better job IF YOU’RE ACTUALLY WORKING AT A JOB.

More important, by doing this, it will lead you to being able to afford renting a room and then a studio/1bed apartment, within two-three months. But you will have to get away from the homeless lifestyle.

If this is a serious posting, being homeless and having anything to do with food delivery isn’t a good match since many, not all, but many homeless individuals do not keep up with their personal hygiene and trust me, it’s very obvious.

Also, for places to sleep, yes, I’d call the cops on you if you were parked out in my neighborhood since I don’t want to deal with the issues that comes with the homeless camping out in one’s neighborhood... I’m not too worried about that since our self appointed “Neighborhood Warden” watches everything that coming into our area and is on speed dial with the cops. I pay to live in a good neighborhood and to be away from all the drama you have to deal with in Seattle. The cops in my area are very pro-active in moving the homeless along... I can only imagine how active the cops are on the eastside with all those multi million dollar homes when dealing with the homeless living in their cars. Many of these areas are for families and single men/women that actually have a job.

If you’re living in your car, many of the churches around Seattle offer safe parking, restrooms/washing stations and meals, but they also have rules that need to be followed, like being onsite before 9pm and be gone by 6am and no alcohol or drug activities.

Regardless, I wish you well... If this is a real posting.

I do food delivery in retirement mainly to stay busy. Plus I love to drive. I have a ‘20 model midsized vehicle. My tips are quite good and I believe the fact that I have a nice car helps. I can’t imagine doing this with a car I lived in. I am not saying it can’t be done, just a bit unlikely. Still I am not certain the OP wasn’t making this all up. If he/she doesn’t reply I guess we can all make our own judgement.
