Default Seattle Skyscrapers.

Why does Seattle have so many downtown high rise skyscrapers for such a small city? LA is like 10 times bigger and has fewer skyscrapers.

Is Seattle economy better then LA is that the reason for that?

BTW..Seattle is so beautiful I just got back from there a week ago.

Take a look at the geography of LA and the geography of Seattle. LA is a big, giant, flat basin that covers hundreds of square miles. Seattle is a narrow, hilly isthmus surrounded by filled-in tide flats.

Also take a look at how the cities grew. Seattle was a seaport town and grew close to the waterfront. LA was an agricultural town.

LA is also considered more of an earthquake risk, so there are many more slightly smaller buildings, spread out over many miles.
