It's muggy to me, too. It may not be Florida muggy, but it's a heck of a lot muggier here than it ever gets in CA.

I can't wait to buy our portable A/C unit this month.

V. =)

Yeah, it's muggy today. It's pretty rare, but it happens once in a while.

The weather should be beautiful while you are here. Expect daytime highs to be about 75F, and nighttime lows to be around 55F. There will probably be little to no rain as July is our driest month of the year with less than an inch of rainfall for the entire month.

Enjoy your visit!

It's all relative.
Compared to the SW, yes it was humid. Compared to the East Coast - not really. Compared to a typical warm day in Seattle, yeah it was a bit humid.

Fortunately, Seattle rarely has TRULY humid warm days. In fact, in the 35 years I've lived in the region, I can probably count the number of "truly humid" (Ie East Coast level) on two hands (maybe even one).

I'll take heat over snow, thanks. Winter lasted way too long.

On Saturday, I can't believe at the gas station, they said "Warm up this winter with a nice cup of coffee". Lazy.
