50's and 60's isn't so bad. Below 35 is when I start complaining. I lived in Chicago for a while and 0-20 degree temperature wasn't fun. Sub zero temps were even worse. It got really hot there in the summer too. Climate was probably similar to eastern Washington (from what I've read).

Depends what time of year you are talking about - 50's feels pretty good in January, not nearly so much so in May. It's currently (11:40 am on May 22nd) 51 degrees at my house - with an expected high to not even hit 60.

That's too chilly. It wouldn't be toooo bad if it these 5-10 degree below average temps were not so darned common this spring - but the fact is , they have been. We get a couple of days of really warm weather, then 10 days to 2 weeks of COLD weather.

Brrrrrrr.

Ken

I agree - 50s or 60s is BAD. But that's my preference - I keep my house set at 75 thermostat. (gosh I always repeat that, sorry)

That day at 80 was comfortable. That's what April/May should be, at least in my dreamland

I just clicked on Weather Bug, downtown at noon is 48.5 degrees - I don't think the average is going to be anywhere near 66, the high maybe close to 60 but not the average

That just SUCKS

I should be wearing flowing light dresses and cute sandals, instead As I walk along downtown people are still in winter coats and some with scarves on - and boots!

All layered up again to walk my dogs.....brrrr. We can actually live anywhere in the state of WA or OR. Maybe I should look over in Spokane.....I would rather have snow with sun than cold rain. But, my daughter keeps me in this area....we had fun downtown on Sat. evening...it was so nice out.

And yes, Redline, I did have a pool in my backyard.....both in FL and OK. Miss it and so does my lab......I think he is the one with SAD!!!!

Yeah, but it's supposed to claw it's way up to 59 by 5 PM (we'll see).

No matter how you look at it, it's still too cold.
