It actually feels colder to me here in Austin (when it's cold Jan/Feb), than I felt in Seattle. Seattle is a moist cold, while Austin is a dry cold - so it feels more crisp... or something like that!! People are right in saying that Seattle winters tend to be mild - it's the rest of the years weather that sucks.
Just bringing it around back to Seattle

June was always one of those iffy months in Seattle. Can be beautiful or it can drizzle or downright pour for the whole month. Then you start thinking about how many days left until the guaranteed rain comes back in mid-October. I don't miss that!!
