Shelley's Leg?? On Main St between the waterfront and 1st Avenue...A gay bar that welcomed everybody, and the place got it's name due tor the owner collecting money, after losing her leg in a motorcycle accident.

Anyone remember the triple X root beer drive-in on Aurora? I don't remember if that was the name, but I remember the the barrel with three Xs on it. Then there were all the old drive-in movie theaters, the Sunset Drive-in is the one I remember the most.

Yup...it bills itself as the last XXX Drive-in remaining in the nation. Great place for Car and Motorcycle clubs to hold events

They used to have a drink there...think it was called a "Liver Flush" that I liked...and they always had very good Baba Ganouj too!

Remember songs like Bingo, Little Bunny Foo Foo, Kookaburra?

My favorite time was always craft time.
I don't remember the songs...but it is quite possible that we were there at the same time!

I don't know if it has been that long, however I started going there shortly after it opened...and quit going so often after I quit working at SCCC, so it's quite possible that your husband made my drinks.

Small world..!
