I'm personally tired of 900 foot pigeons roaming my neighborhood, terrorizing small children and the elderly.

Laugh about gangs, but there was a shooting in the Northgate Parking lot several weeks ago at about 7 PMish. Whether they are wannabes or not, they are still packing heat. Plus our neighborhood is tagged regularly.

there will always be shootings as long as there are guns,but because someone is shot does not mean it is gang related,could be lunatic related,or jealous wife related...and tagging does not equal gangs-they tend to equal idiots with a complete disregard for others property-tagging tends to indicate thieves in the area-someone that scrawls on private property will steal your car or rob your house...gangs in Seattle what a joke...

From the Seattle times;
Seattle Police Department gang-unit members continued their search Saturday for a gunman responsible for shooting and wounding a 15-year-old boy outside Northgate Mall on Friday evening.

We have gang activity here. It may not be as bad as South Central LA, but we have gang activity.

Not in Seattle proper, but in Tukwila there's plenty of gangs.

Yeah, Tukwila is where I see the most ppl who at least look gangsterish, not sure if they are though. They seem nice enough, just maybe dress the part.

I laughed about what someone said earlier in this post about being told to stay away from West Seattle.... who would say that?! I actually only lived in W.Sea(Alki) for the first year that I lived here but spent most all of my time there and is was the quietest most safe feeling part of the city. IMO.
And as far as White Center goes I think it is a little run down with some odd characters here and there, but not much more than that.

Default This site doesn't answer the OPs ? but ---

It does show the extent of the gang activity in the northwest.
In my opinion, liberal areas that become crowded seem to have a lot of gangs.

Yeah, I don't know why some may find the mention of gangs in the Seattle area comical. I'm not saying it's Southern California, but it's not Mayberry either. The Seattle area has gangs.
