It's not raining today!
A day of Seattle perfection. Sunshine, flowers, fragrant greenery, blue water, mountains.
I love Seattle......today. Doesn't get much better than this anywhere on planet earth.

oh, crumb, and I flew to Colorado to get some sun, and now I have missed one of my 81 'allotted' nice days at home... I hate it when that happens... its as bad as the boss deciding to take vacation same time as you

Time to visit Alki Beach. Days like today is a perfect time to visit Alki Beach and enjoy the Seattle skyline at night. It is so beautiful. I love Alki Beach. I wish I bought my house there which I almost did 10 years ago for $235k if it was not for the dumb real state agent who forgot to send back my counter offer. That same house now which sits on three lots is worth around $750k. Ouch.
Does any one have pictures of Alki Beach.
Here are some videos that I have found of Alki Beach.

Gotta tell you... I work for MSFT and spent a summer out in Redmond a few years ago for some training... the best weather I have ever seen. Blue skies, 70 -80 degrees, and absolutely not a shred of humidity. I was there through the end of September, and things did start to go rapidly downhill after Labor Day.
I've been there many times in the winter, but that was only the second time in summer, and the Pac NW is a really nice place to visit during July and Aug.

My mom is in town (Seattle) from Austin today, and for the last couple of days... she said she forgot how COLD is was. She said it was sunny yesterday (6/12) but that today was cloudy and chilly again.
She also said she had forgotten about how seriously bad the traffic was.... she's been gone from that area about 3 years.
