Default Best Brewpubs

Coming for a vacation. Hubby would like to visit one or two brewpubs...what are your favorites and why?

Rock Bottom Brewery downtown makes a variety of good beer. Food is good too. My favorite so far.

Not a big fan of Pyramid Ale House. It's a big place, very popular in Seattle, but I don't like their beer.

There are a couple of locations for an upscale brew pub called the Ram. Beer is good, food ok. Overpriced I think.

I'm a fan of Hale's, on the Ballard/Fremont border sometimes known as Freelard.
Good food, great beer, and one of the Northwest's oldest microbreweries.

Thanks for that...Hubby not big fan of Pyramid either, so that was off the list. He wanted to go someplace and get some local beers that we can't get here. Will put Rock Bottom on the short list. Thanks!

I agree with Rock Bottom, their Liquid Sun is amazing - the Wheat is good too. Not ENTIRELY local though, they have locations all over the country. Within the area, there's one in Downtown Seattle and Downtown Bellevue.

The Elysian Brewing Company is good too. They're local, with three locations within Seattle.
