Does anyone know if you can take the WA 202 up to bothell from redmond and if so is it quicker than driving on 405 North to bothell during normal traffic hours.

Thanks.

Yes, you can take 202. During heavy traffic it's probably quicker than 405, otherwise it's about the same travel time. If you type in your route in Google Maps, you can drag it over to 202 rather than 405 and get directions via that route.

Unless they've added to it, I thought 202 only went to Woodinville.

After Woodinville, can you drive to Bothell on another road?

I just dont want to live in Redmond and drive on the 520 the 405 which isn't that bad (hopefully) when I can take the 202 and avoid the bottlenecking.

...an if you call the roads "the 405" or "the 520" the natives here will know you're a Californian and shun you, so drop the the.

I can add that both roads get pretty bad, but 202 gets my vote. I have to go a little ways up 202 and it looks to me like it backs up quite a bit from around 106th St NE to at least 124th st, maybe more (I just haven't been north of 124th on 202 during rush hour). But 405 ...shudder.....
