Hello All:
Do you have a favorite taqueria that you would like to share? We don't need anything fancy of course, but a good salsa bar would be nice. If they have a specialty they do well that would also be good info. |

El Quetzal on Beacon Hill at 3209 Beacon Ave (206) 329-2970 is terrific, and different. Very few places serve huaraches, which is kinda like a pre-Columbian cornmeal pizza, but they do, as well as great tacos and the best tortas in town.

Even though it's a chain, my wife and I like Taqueria El Rinconsito. The food is reliable, quick and authentic - reminds me of places I've been in SoCal - and also inexpensive. We mostly go to the one in the Renton Highlands. They have a decent salsa bar and a big menu, with menudo and posole on weekends.
Taqueria El Rinconsito The drive-through can be handy as well. |

Yeah Riconsito is pretty good. I've been to the Kent and Burien ones.

Sandy's Tacqueria in Renton, on the Maple Valley Highway just past the Renton Community center very close to downtown Renton...Cheap and great, nothing on the menu costs more than 4.25.

There's a taco truck at the corner of Rainier and Graham in south Seattle that has amazing, cheap food (no salsa bar though). Then Muy Macho Taqueria in Southpark is especially good (best chicken in town). Both have horchata for drinks!
