It really depends on what kind of church you are coming from because even within non-denominational you get a wide range of "Bible" churches. When I moved here from TX where I attended an Evangelical Free church and a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church, my target list included Crossroads Bible in Bellevue, Mars Hill in Ballard, Overlake Christian Church in Redmond and Westiminster Chapel in Bellevue. I settled on Overlake. Obviously you have many more choices than that and these tend to be more conservative churches in terms of doctrine, but hopefully it's a start. With internet you can literally go listen to online sermons for most of them and at least weed out a few of them. Good luck!

It depends on where in Seattle you live. Texastrigirl mentioned some of the King County area's biggest churches. I've attended churches in north seattle. University Presbyterian upc.org, Bethany Community Church (near greenlake) and Quest Church (seattlequest.org). Quest is definitely the most diverse and my favorite by far. A fairly young population but some older folks as well. Bethany has recently built a huge building and attendance has basically doubled to over 1,400 people each week. I'm sure UPC has more than that. I've also attended Mars Hill (Ballard) but that is pretty conservative and doesn't fit my style. I don't know much about churches in central or south seattle.

Great post, I just stated looking for a non-denom since I am having a baby and want to get it blessed when born. I google it to, but its better to get opinions straight from the people out here. We are deciding in between either Overlake Christisn or East shore unitatrian Church in Bellevue. Good luck on your search.

Pittgal,
I don't mean to pry, but aren't the Overlake Christian Church and the Eastshore Unitarian like complete opposites?
