I will be moving up to Seattle and I have been searching apartments and it seems as though no one allows dogs in the areas close to Seattle or if they do the rent it too high (i was looking in Green Lake, Queen Anne or Capital Hill area). So I have settled on Renton, my problem is that I have been reading posts on here talking about how 'ghetto' it can be. Does any know how safe the area around Windsor Hills Park is?

Or if anyone can tell me where I should look, I want to keep rent under $900 a month for a 1 bedroom and I have a small 15 pound dog. I will be working in the downtown Seattle area and probably be taking the bus or train into work. Thanks for the help!

Windsor Hills is not that bad, and most of Renton isn't that bad either( though there are spots to avoid)..Windsor Hills isn't too far from the Renton Technical College, there is a good espresso place with free massage chairs within walking distance, and Jimmy Hendrix is buried at Greenwood Cemetery just a few blocks away.
There are parts of Seattle which are less safe and more expensive.
