Hey there,

I've been reading that the new iPhone 3G hasn't been consistently acquiring 3G coverage in many parts of the US (and the world). I'm thinking of buying one and I hope to hear what kind of 3G coverage people are experiencing in the Seattle area.

Thanks,

I have one but I couldn't tell you specifically if I was picking up 3G network or 2.5...

Can you tell me how I could find out such a thing? Regardless, the network is always pretty zippy in Seattle as far as I can tell.

I just used the word zippy, put me out of my misery..

I have had no 3G issues with mine anywhere in the Puget Sound Area...I'm very happy with it!

I may even go as far as to say Zippy myself

I have a 3g, and get 3 g service less then 15% of the time. I reside in an area where they show 3g service. It's a scam in my opinion. The 3g is way overrated anyhow.

I'm in Olympia, and I get 3G service nearly 100% of the time. Very rarely have I looked at my phone and noticed it on the Edge network, other than when leaving town and heading into rural areas. Even then, the coverage has been surprisingly good. I've been surprised about some of the remote areas where I still get a 3G signal.
