Huh? Nothing in your post resembles coherent thought.

Some times I feel very frustrated that Seattle is not as fabulous as Vancouver, not as thronging as San Fran, not as dense as New York.

But being world-class is expensive! And I think most people here are content with that Seattle is.

You can still get a cheap apartment on Capitol Hill or Queen Anne with ocean, mountain and space needle views, also the housing price is expensive but not outrageous like "those" cities. =)

Go to a Seahawks, Sounders, or Mariners game and say that again ... yet another ignorant stereotype from a person who isn't from here rearing its head again

I totally agree with this post. I don't worry about NYC or SF, but Seattle can really learn a lot from Vancouver.

It's because we don't don't have chef-hat like weather ballons floating in the air.

Because it isn't populated by people that want it to be. They fight anything that gives that possibility a chance.

As we've travelle the country these past thirteen months, I am continually impressed with how easy it is to travel around cities that are larger than Seattle. The public transport is better, the streets are better, and did I mention how most appear cleaner, as well?

Seattle is a large group of people who profess to be forward-thinking and innovative, and then refuse to fund every effort. The only place we've seen worse streets are in northern Maine. Milwaukee has a better transit system, and anywhere is cleaner.

I find that hard to believe. 2 minutes of research on Wikipedia tells me this: Milwaukee doesn't have light rail. Milwaukee doesn't have commuter rail. Milwaukee doesn't have street cars. The Milwaukee County Transit System operates 69 routes with a fleet of 483 vehicles.

King County Metro and Sound Transit combined operate 253 routes with a fleet of 1793 vehicles. Sound Transit operates Sounder commuter rail and Link light rail. King County Metro operates the SLU streetcar (with additional lines in the works for both LLR and the streetcar system). Given these realities, how is it possible that Milwaukee has a better transit system than Seattle?

LookinForMayberry says, "anywhere is cleaner"

You're saying Seattle is the dirtiest city you've seen from that RV?

Needless Kane "threw the first stone" (started this thread) on September 12, 2008. This was his first and last post. He never participated ever since. However, this thread is still very much alive and running. "Today we are going to talk about Seattle", he-he. Nice job, Needless Kane
