FYI: PIKE PLACE Market is actually a tremendous cultural ammentity...includes way more than tomatoes and fish. The arguments people use against Seattle are way off base

This is a cool list! A lot of interesting Asian and African cities that I've never been to. Seattle is in upper third tier.

Why? Did Seattle do something to you personally? What difference does it make if it's "notched" too high for your liking?
