pwright, what a terrific collection! And just in time, before the sun goes to Martinique for the winter...

You got the Wall of Gum! Haven't seen shots of that in years. I'm glad to see it's still going strong.

Yeah, and we forget the name of the glowing orb.

I'm probably going to post another true Seattle thread soon, to please those who like that kind of weather and to warn out-of-towners that don't.

It's time for our resident Oscar the grouch - Tada - to thrive after hibernating from the sun all summer.

You seriously need to get a life. Stop hijacking every thread.

Pwright, amazing and beautiful pictures as always. I think you got some shots of the Escala, right? When is that set to open? Thanks again for some great pictures!

I believe the Escala is set to open in late 2009. What a great addition to dt Seattle imo. I can't wait.

I was honestly thinking early 2009 for some reason. I probably just can't wait for that building to go up. I agree, a GREAT addition to Downtown Seattle. The more residential skyscrapers Seattle gets the better. And yes, I am a sucker for skycrapers and urban living. I have been over at the skycraper city forums forever!

Now all I have to do is save up 800k and I can purchase a home at the Escala! How is the Central District these days, pwright? I have always been fond of that neighborhood.

Seattle seemingly has the some of the most haters on city-data. Usually the more haters there are, the better the city. I always hear people ranting on San Francisco and Portland too.
