Gah, just read the crab fest link again and it's going to be in Port Angeles.

We have no car. I want crab. How do we get there from Seattle? Bus? Ferry/bus? Is there a way?

Captain Crunch, I'm striking out on your crab festival.

Olympic bus lines wants $69 round trip per person to Port Angeles! Caramba, that's way out of my price line.

And Penneco has gone out of business according to the lady who got their old phone number (360)452-5104. More titilatingly, 888-673-6626 seems to be a sex talk line.....not a bus service. Whoa nellie.

So I'm still up for any kind of idea to get to Port Angeles via any combination of public transit that comes in at under 70 bucks a head.....

Aw thanks, that was sweet of you to put that together (more like magic) but after 8 hours of traveling from Seattle to get to Port Angeles at 4:30 PM, I fear the festival would be mostly over.....

It's really quite shameful that public transit access is limited to either a daylong voyage to get 50 miles, or a 70 dollar bus ride.
