Beautiful pictures--couldnt agree more. I fly in on the 26th to reunite for 10 days with my boyfriend--now I can see more of why he goes on and on about his home town
I am still freaking out about moving there myself----living in AZ can't see myself driving in those icy conditions...YIKES! I don't know how you guys do it---I am a whimp! Thanks for taking such great pics though...it's really helping me see the city.

Not too many Seattle residents know how to drive in icy conditions either, Bella, unless they came from cold weather states. It's kind of comical how a couple of inches of snowfall can bring the city to a grinding halt - if I remember correctly, it's usually only a couple of times a year that the temps go below freezing and there is ice or snow on the roads.

Great pictures, as always. BTW, for anyone interested, there is a story in the
Seattle Times this week about this ship (from one of pwright's pictures, above). The Kauai is stuck here until perhaps April, and Anthony's Pier 66 and other businesses aren't happy about it (the big ship is blocking the view).
