Dating in Redmond/Seattle area
I'm a SWF in her 30s who is thinking of moving to the Redmond area (if I can afford it). I am looking to date and hopefully find Mr. Right soon. Is there a surplus of professional men there or not, or do men have the pickin's? Any info is most welcome.
Thanks!

My advice to you about finding "Mr. Right" is to go about your life doing the things you enjoy doing. And when you aren't looking and least expect it... There they are right before your eyes.
In MY opinion... when you go looking you find yourself doing things you wouldn't normally do. Activities that you really don't enjoy just because you think you will find a man to love you. But we forget that after you meet and things settle...those activities will no longer be attractive to you, because you didn't enjoy them in the first place and then the problems begin. Or while you are looking you are being who you may think a man would want you to be then you change back...boom more problems... Soon you find he is not "MR. Right" yet again. So do what you like and be who you are and he will find you....no matter where you live.

okay No there isn't a "surplus" of single men here... professional or otherwise... have you considered Alaska?

From what I have always heard (and there have been several news reports, local magazine articles, etc on this topic) it's very hard to be single and looking in the Western WA area.
I bet you could google it

THIS was the article I knew was out there - during the heated "Making Friends... " thread.
Fits in this post too...
