Question Belltown--Gay Area??

Please respond only if you live in the Seattle area.

Is Belltown a magnet for gay men?... word is that groups of guys hang out there and it's artsy. Any info. is appreciated!!

You will find gay men and women through out Seattle. It's a very gay-friendly, and accepting area. I wouldn't say that they congregate in Belltown though. Capital Hill is commonly known as the "gay neighborhood" - but I think that represents a time past. Most of the neighborhoods are well mixed and diverse, in that sense.

Belltown is typically young, late twenties, early thirties single people - lots of bars and restaurants.

I wouldn't consider it "arty".

Beltown is not a "gay area". You might find a few there but the overwhelming majority are straight IMO. It's more yuppy than artsy. If you want artsy go to Fremont.
