Broke student in Redmond, advice for finding apartment! (Bellevue: house, prices)

Hi! I'm moving from Florida, looking for something close to Digipen but not crazy expensive. (Expensive being above $1,000 /sigh)

Just wondering if any neighboring cities are cheaper or if I'm out of luck.

For detailed housing I should probably mention that it needs to be dog/cat friendly. Washer/dryer would be loved but I guess unnecessary.

Oh, and I don't have a car.

Have you checked craigslist yet? That's faster than here. For sure you can share a decent house with washer/dryer in Redmond for under $1K. I'd say only 20% of places allow cats, and less for dogs. Google for Metro Trip Planner to make sure there's a bus route where you need one. Bellevue, which abuts Redmond, has about the same prices.

Hmm, thanks! Yea, I'll be sharing the apartment with my bf, but we're trying to get something as cheap as possible. I haven't checked craigslist yet, that could be my best bet.

These animals are lucky we love them to death because they're making it harder for us to find something haha. (3 cats/1 dog) :'C
