Default First time Seattle visitor

I'll be up there for training this week. The wife is coming up on Thursday. We are staying over on Western Ave West. Can you guys give me the rundown on places to see/eat and things to do? What about public transportation? Do I need to rent a car?

Thanks!
Jake

Default A few suggestions...

You will not need to rent a car if you plan on staying in and around the city. You should visit Pike Place Market (Pike Place Market). Maybe take a ferry over to Bainbridge Island (Bainbridge Island - Kitsap County, WA USA) and grad some lunch.

What kind of food do you like? I'm sure you'll get all kinds of restaurant recommendations once you let us know.

Joe
