Lake Union

Pioneer Square

On The Waterfront

You know we have to take a ferry ride over to Bainbridge Island.

That's Bainbridge Island. A short 20-minute ferry ride west of Seattle. It could be considered a "bedroom" community of Seattle.

I took the 11:25 ferry on Saturday to Bremerton. Had to look through the pictures to see if we were in them!!! I love how a gray day suddenly turns bright and sunny when you least expect it. And I LOVE the ferries.

Default A great part of the culture

It's been a long while since I've been to Seattle. The ferry transport mode is such a romantic thing. Even in a commute, I would imagine, you could just leave the work-a-day world behind and escape a bit. Brilliant.
