You were right. They did get an investor after they went bankrupt.

You know, the last few catalogs have been sort of lame, especially for women's clothes.

Sarcasm understood. But I was correct, (or so it seems with today's news), that the brand will continue, and job losses will be minimal.

So many companies filing Chapter 11 right now. My largest client did it in April and boy have I learned a lot! Pretty amazing how they can restructure to survive. But you essentially have to go to court weekly to get your cash outflow approved. Lots of money for attorneys and consultants...

Actually, that was one of the few times I haven't been sarcastic on these boards. Another company is swooping in, will continue the brand, and Eddie Bauer will press on. I think it's great. I don't want Seattle to lose any more companies. I live here (well, will in about six months, when I fisnish this tour.) and I call it home. We need strong businesses. We need more jobs.

Sometimes, the jist of what is typed on a message board can be construed the wrong way. Perhaps, I should have elaborated.

/didn't mean nothin' bad, I swear. My apologies.
