It depends on what you are looking for.
I live in North Snohomish County just west of Arlington which is about halfway between Seattle and the Canadian Border.
This area has a really rural feeling, but along the I-5 corridor are tons of shopping, entertainment, and casinos.
I live about 7 miles west of I-5 in an area called 7 lakes. There are actually 7 lakes where people fish, boat, water ski etc. The whole area is covered with 100 ft pine trees. You can sit on your front porch and see eagles flying overhead in the nesting season. You can buy a house in this area anywhere from 200K-1.5 million depending on where it is located.
It is 2 miles to the puget sound from my house. There you can launch your boat and catch dungeness crabs. You can dig clams on the beach. You can catch fresh salmon in the Stillaguamish river a few miles away. All of these activities require the proper licenses because the Indian Tribes in WA actually own all the fishing rights.
15 minutes drive from my house is the largest discount designer mall in the world with 110 stores and next door is a huge 260,000 sq ft casino with a great Las Vegas style buffet. an ampitheatre, and a hotel and spa.
Even with all the new building, they have not destroyed the historical part of this area. The towns of Arlington and Stanwood still have 100 year old buildings, local eateries and summer concerts in the park. People watch their children play baseball in the park. On July 4th, there is a town parade where anyone can join in and the kids love to dress up to do so. Then everybody buys a little rubber ducky for $5.00 and goes down to the park to put it in the river for the Duck Dash. The ducks float downstream to the finish line and the winner gets a prize and the money goes to local charities.
This is a family area with a midwest feel. I come from Los Angeles, myself, but I have been here for 18 years and have enjoyed this atmosphere.
If you are young and want a more urban feel, I would suggest Edmonds, or Seattle. You can read all about them on the city blogs.
Let me know if you have any more questions about this area that I live in.

There are many suburbs -- separate cities and towns -- around and near Seattle. The City of Seattle itself has many neogjbprjppds located around and near the downtown Seattle business district. "Best" is always in the mind of the beholder. What do you mean by "best"?

The fast way to find the names of the many suburbs is to open Mapquest.com, enter Seattle in the city block and WA in the state block and hit Search. By enlarging or reducing the map you can find out all the names. Then to get pictures quickly you can click on City-Data.com, in the top left corner of every page on this forum. Click on Washington. Then scroll, find the name of the city/town, click on it, and an entire very long page of info about only that place will open, including pictures.

You can also Google for photos of any place.

For the names of neighborhoods in Seattle, for which you can then Google for photos, here's a great resource -- the Seattle City Clerk's map of the neighborhoods. Clicking will enlarge. You can learn all the names, and then Google for photos:

If you want more specific information, giving us specific details and questions would help us know what you're interested in, eh? Have fun!
