The elementary school in Snoqualmie that people rave about is Cascade View. I think Snoqualmie itself only has two elementary schools, the other being Snoqualmie Elementary, which I don't know anything about.

I think the both Cascade View and Snoqualmie Elementary are fine schools. My best friend from college that lives on the Ridge likes both of them (her son goes to CR, daughter to Snoq Elem...different schools due to limited full day K options and lottery drawing) though I have heard there are some overcrowding issues because bonds keep get voted down to build new schools. This may be a longer term issue if they can't get it ironed out. We looked in Sno Ridge and my friend advised us against it for several reasons but schooling in the later years concerns them. They would like to move into Issaquah Schools eventually or will stay in Sno Ridge but do private at St. Joes. If you aren't going to stay beyond elementary it may be fine? Have you considered Maple Valley? I am hearing great things about their schools.

Thanks you two!

I saw a house on line that I'm so in love with (of course we just signed a new year's lease! grrrr), so it got me wondering about Snoqualmie. The house was only like 2 blocks from Snoqualmie Elementary.

Remember that sometimes they look really good online and not in real life. Happened to me a few times!
