Defective Exterior Paint Job from Certa Pro and CostCo
We moved from Seattle to Phoenix area 6 years ago. We went to CostCo and hire Certa Pro Painters to paint the exterior of the house in AZ. To our surprise, the paint started to peel and fall of on the next day. These problems occur on all the surface areas of the entire house. We have tried to contact CostCo but they always referred us back to Certa Pro which has not been responsive as we'd like them to be. The payment was made in full to CostCo and we believe CostCo, not Certa Pro, should be the one who takes care of the issue.
We do not want the original contractor to touch our house ever again. We have zero confidence that they would do the repair right.
CostCo claims on their brochure that customers should expect "quality, value, and professionalism of the highest order" from Certa Pro. What we have encountered was anything except those.
We purchased the paint from Sherwin Williams. Their rep inspected the paint job and confirmed that the problem was due to the stucco material the contractor used.
Has anybody experienced inferior/defect paint job with Certa Pro/CostCo?
