I've lived in the same house in Federal Way for 18 years this month. I don't know about other people, but I absolutely love living here. The outskirts of town are pretty nice. It's "downtown" Fed Way that's really the problem.

Very well then. I'm in Edgewood right now and so far everything is peaceful. I can't wait to get settled in around here. I'll either move closer to Seattle itself, or possibly stay here since everyone has been so friendly so far. Thanks again for the replies!

RUN!!!! dont come bk to this gang hell hole... You'll find pockets of nice area's but for the most part its pretty GHETTO- Seattle Rainer ave cleaned up their housing area's once the light rail started going in, Tacoma Hill top area pushed a lot of the gangs out of those area's and claimed a majority of those neighborhoods thanks to HGTV and DIY networks ... That pushed a lot of the undesireables to Federal Way, Fife, Kent- . I'm cool with the melting pot communities, but when there's grafitie and bullets in the "Melting Pot"- No thanks... Des Moines may be a lil better.. Either way if you have a Honda sell it before you move down here
