It's pretty consistent...

There can be some dry sunny periods too, just not that frequently.

thank you again for the helpful posts.

I have couple more questions.

Do you think I should sell my car here and then move to Seattle or I should take my car with me?
It'll take a while to pay it off, but It's really good to have car, so I can drive all around.
I'm ok to use busses, but if it's the same way as in Anchorage, I would better have a car.

MickeyS, you can find a lot of these answers on the net with some searches.

I moved to Alaska and back to Washington with my car. Not impossible. The bus system in Seattle is quite good, but like most cities, it is more convenient with a car, unless you need to park downtown everyday.

Sounds like you may be over-thinking this. What does your gut say? I don't know you, but generally, I say go with your gut!

thank you pw72.

Most likely I will move within couple weeks.
I found a place in Kent, don't know how good is the area.
Commuting to Seattle Downtown according to google is around 25min, 35min in traffic. Does it sound right? Also, do I need to get winter tires for winter season or I'm just used to ak? lol

Kent is OK, although like many south sound cities have had some crime issues. Commute sounds about right, but can be slower on the worst days. Winter tires? Most tires are all-weather these days, and specifically-winter tires are not really needed, except for those few days Seattle gets real winter!

In winter, you do need to carry chains for your vehicle and if you don't have 4 x 4 or at least front wheel drive you aren't going anywhere in the snow.
Don't sell your car. You really can't survive here without one unless you live in the city of Seattle.
Instead of driving through Canada and putting all that wear on your car and yourself why not take the ferry to Anacortes? It is not too expensive and you can camp on the boat deck. The ferry goes through the inside passage which is beautiful. From Anacortes to the place you are going to live is about 1.5 hrs drive.
