I remember growing up there wasn't money for fancy rental companies, so my parents borrowed folding chairs for family parties from a local funeral home (maybe there was a token fee, but I don't know). The chairs weren't fancy, just old-fashioned metal institutional style folding chairs like you'd find in a gymnasium, and we had to go pick them up and bring them back the next day (in multiple trips). But the price was right!
