Is this community any good? Is it developed or undeveloped and its surrounding areas ? Any supermarkets, shopping malls near this community? I am not from the Seattle area. I am from Philadelphia, PA. Hope you guys can tell me. Thanks a lot!

Bill

I've been inside a couple of the townhomes at Trail Run and they seem pretty nice, but...

It's an area that was all farmland not that many years ago, and is not especially easy to get around without a car. There are supermarkets within a few miles, and the Supermall outlet mall is also pretty close...there's also one of the last remaining drive in theatres close by.

But it's night and day compared to Philly. Auburn used to a lot of farmland, and there is still a presence of farming there, but they've torn down most of it and built mostly housing that's ugly and too close together. But Trail Run is a bit nicer than some of the other Auburn housing.

How about Trail Run's single family homes? Is this community in the same area where the townhouses are?

thx

I would avoid Centex. They aren't willing to budge on price at all and the lady I spoke with at the complex in Auburn was rude. Auburn is okay, but I would avoid that area. As was already pointed out, it is a bit too remote.

Their incentives to quality ratio is unbeatable.

I spoke with someone at Centex corporate who was very nice and appeared willing to negotiate on prices. Apparently that willingness doesn't extend to this specific employee I dealt with in Auburn who was condescending and rude.

It's great that their "incentives to quality ratio is unbeatable" but if they aren't willing to budge on price at all in this market, then that's too bad. I'll take my money elsewhere and move to a better location because that location in Auburn is **** poor.

To each their own.
