Default Tattoo Shops?

What is the selection of tattoo shops/artists like in Seattle? I have heard of Aaron Bell and his Slave to the Needle Shops but, haven't heard about any other major shops or artists in the area. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Yay, I was wondering about this also. And how strict are the companies with the dress code and the showing of any tattoos on the arms or ankle area.

As for tattoo shops, that is the only one in the area I would go to. There's a reason that shop is one of the few you hear of.

As for tattoos and companies, it of course depends on the company. There is no overlying rule that "this is Seattle, so all tattoos are OK". Its different company to company, and career goals to career goals. If you only aspire to be a cashier, or barista, then yeah, tattoo away. If you desire to be a VP of marketing at a fortune 500 company, then maybe hold back on the visible tattoos. Of course, they can't fire you or decide not to hire you if they can't see the tattoo. Its why all mine are coverable with a short sleeve business short.

I work in a conservative office and my tattoos are covered as well. There is still a view that having a tattoo makes you less of a capable person. Sad, but true. Cover 'em up until you find that job you want.

If you ever pick up a copy of The Stranger there's usually ads for shops in there.

Other than Slave To The Needle, there's Laughing Buddha on Broadway, Deep Roots on University Way, Super Genius Tattoo on East Pike, Hidden Hand on Fremont, Cicada on Aurora, and Apocalypse on Olive Way.
